چکیده
A meteorologically challenging situation that represents a demanding control task (rotational speed, pitch and yaw) for wind turbine is presented its implementation in simulation described. high-fidelity numerical process chain, consisting of the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solver FLOWer, multi-body system (MBS) software SIMPACK Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings code ACCO, used. With it, aerodynamic, servoelastic aeroacoustic (<20 Hz) behaviour generic during meteorological event with strong rapid changes speed direction investigated. precursor model PALM deployed to generate realistic inflow data. The simulated controller response resulting aeroelastic are analysed. Finally, low-frequency sound emissions evaluated influence different operating flow parameters variable assessed. It observed and, linked rotational as well turbulence intensity main influencing factors emitted power turbine. Yawed inflow, on other hand, has little effect unless it operational mode load reduction, swap emitter from blades tower.

CFD Simulation of High-speed Trains: Train-induced Wind Conditions on Trackside Installations
Speed is the created air flow as well as slipstream effects as the trains move. These effects can have some level of impact on fuel and energy efficiency of the train, but their other important outcome is the emergence of turbulent flows at higher speeds which can cause aerodynamic drag forces followed by noise and vibration. Thus, slipstream effects have significant importanc...

Assessment of complex harmonic current contribution of each wind turbines at connection point of a wind farm to the grid (primary emission) is presented in this paper. Moreover, contribution of grid background harmonic voltage distortion on harmonic current distortion (secondary emission) of each turbine is also evaluated. Both assessments are represented based on primary and secondary transfer...
متن کاملAn Investigation on Performance of Shrouding a Small Wind Turbine with a Simple Ring in a Wind Tunnel
Ducted wind turbines are a kind of small wind turbine having a diffuser or any other shape around the rotor which increases the air flow through the blades and absorbs more power. In the present study, a small wind turbine was ducted with a relatively simple ring and its performance was investigated in a wind tunnel. The duct is shaped using rolling steel sheets on a sloping surface and finally...
